I'd like to receive medical advice for my gastritis symptoms and how to deal with it?

I'm 23 yrs old and last year I was diagnosed with gastritis. All my life I've been pretty nervous but in college I suffered from huge amounts of stress; I had colitis symptoms whenever I was gonna have an exam and on rare occasions I saw a reduction in my weight. Last year of college I had a terrible case of hemorrhoids that affected me for almost 6 months and after that I had gastric complications (mainly abdominal pain and burn) which led me to seek for medical help. After blood tests, an endoscopy and months of taking omeprazole, it turned out that I was "fine", but now the symptoms are coming back and I don't know what should I do. I am aware that gastritis is treatable and not curable, but I've heard that maybe what I have is something other than gastritis, could be Irritable bowel syndrome. My symtoms are: inflamation and abdominal pain after eating; burps; burning sense (in the stomach) when I wake up in the mornings; constipation; sometimes the symptoms of colitis (inflamation and pain of the lower abdomen, dhirrhea-like consistency evacuation); still some pain from the hemorroids; and that is what I can remember. Now here comes the interesting part, since I'm unemployed I don't have access to the mexican public health system and right now I can't afford to go to the doctora and have some more tests done on me; I don't smoke, I drink very little, I've never eaten spicy food in my life; on the other hand I do stress a lot, mainly from financial problems at home, arguments with my parents, being sociophobic, being nervous about my ity (with my family of course), graduating from college 8 months ago and still not having a job, etc... To wrap it up, I don't know if I should keep taking omeprazole or if anybody thinks that I could do or take something different in order to ease the affection. Please do not say "take it easy" hehe, I know it's what I should do but that's not the kind of advice I'm looking for.

Make this decison carefully. There are alot of changes in the industry. Also most lenders have removed ALL borrower benefits from consolidation loans and minimums have gone up. It is not really profitable for lenders anymore. Also the interest rate will the the SAME no matter which lender you choose due to the weighted average. Enlisting in Navy after missing ship date?

First off I enlisted last year and was supposed to ship out in january. Long story short a lot of crap came up and I ended up not going. Why am I still coughing up phlegm from quitting smoking?

Ok heres the deal. I started smoking at the age of 16 i am now 19 (almost 20), i quit smoking like 6/7 weeks ago and i am doing fine (no help whatsoever). I smoked packeted cigarettes for the first year or so then switched to roll ups. The number of cigarettes i would have in a day varied quite alot it could be anything between 5 and 20 (on a typical day it would be around 10). OK so i know from research for the first couple of weeks of qutting that it is completely normal to have quite a substancial amount of phlegm which is the lungs cleaning them selves of the harmful substances. 6/7 weeks onwards i still have ridiculous amounts of phlegm that does not seem to be getting any less. Any ideas why this is still happening?

My gyno tried to do an endometrial ablation but I was told that it did not work. He also did a laparoscopy at the same time and told me that he treated alot of endometriosis, but in order to really get it to not come back I would probably have to get a partial hysterectomy where they just take out part of the uterus and leave the cervix and overies. I had a few questions. I had this laparoscopy and ablation on the 26th of April so will he make me heal up from that surgery before I can do another? PCOS and Abdominal pain?

I am a 22 y/o f who was diagnosed w/ PCOS when I was 17. In 05 I was able to get my weight down and keep it dn, but recently I gained a good amt of it back. About 5 mths ago I started to have really intense abdominal pain. The DRs continued to chart it off as the cyst on my ovaries popping. My current PCare DR. has since recommended me for an MRI, CT Scan, X-Ray and all the results were neg for endometriosis and any fractures. She has since recommended me to a OBGYN to see if she could refer me 2 surgery to insure it is not endometriosis. Unfortunately she will not give me the referral she thinks it may be muscoskelatal. So I have now been referred to PT which I have been consistently going 2x a wk for a mth now. There has been no change if NEthing the area is getting more aggravated. Is there anything else that could be triggering this pain? I am now taking over 6 meds a day to help with the pain and I am still i pain. I have an appt in 2wks and any sugg. or ans would be great THX ALL

I suffer from migraines. I normally get the "aura"?

When I get the aura I can usually take aspirin or Ibuprofen in time to prevent the pain. Once in a while my eye will feel like it is becoming surrounded by darkness making me feel really strange. It normally goes away within a few minutes. I had one today and it took almost 30 minutes to go away, letting me see again. I have a small headache, but nothing big so I am not sure if this has anything to do with a migraine. Does anyone else get this "dark blindness" before a migraine? If this has nothing to do with my migraines then I am in trouble because it is related to the brain..and I have no insurance. Any info would help.

Did I have a miscarriage?

I am 28 years old...first pregnancy. My LMP was 2/1. I found out I was pregnant on 2/27 with a home pregnancy test and had pregnancy symptoms...sore bbs, frequent urination. About a week later, I began spotting and then bled (like a period) for a day. I spotted for the next few days and now all bleeding has stopped. My Dr. had my HCG checked and it was 25 on 3/3 and 34 on 3/5. She said I had a threatened miscarriage and we would continue with the blood work on 3/10 and 3/12. I go in for an ultrasound on 3/11. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms but my obgyn said that is not always an indicator of anything. I feel confused as to why my HCG rose (although it didn't double) and I bled. Could I have already had a miscarriage even if my HCG is still increasing? My obgyn also said that maybe I'm not as far along as I think and there's a slight chance it could work. I'm trying not to be too hopeful...this is an awful rollercoaster! Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank

i have had ringing in my ears for a bout 3-4months now and the ringing is backed y a constant clicking sound coming from my ear. when i originally noticed the ringing i went into the doctors the next morning and found out that i had a serious cold that left me full of mucus. i was told that the ringing would stop sfter a few days. but after a week it was still going on when going to the doctoer again i was told that i had a build up of mucus around the eardrum causing the ringing, and also the crackling was due to air going through it. i was advised to do some things but due to college i had little time to do them so the ringing is still continuing. also a few days befor the ringing i was at a party and inhaled some nitrous oxide from a balloon, it was my first time and i know now that it can cause a ringing in the ears after excessive use (which i certainly didnt do) its also on both sides and changes pitch from time to time and gets louder if i push on my head behind my ears

About 2 weeks ago I ate a burger and some ice cream from a fast food resturant. The next morning I woke up feeling horrible. I had severe stomach pains in the upper part of my stomach. I haven't used a calculator since I was an undergrad in my second or third year. Back then I had a TI graphing calculator--whatever was current at the time. At some point, your tests and homework stop requiring you to actually do the plugnchug. If I have to calculate something (which isn't often), I use a spreadsheet or the windows built-in calculator thingy. For real work, I use data ysis tools like ROOT.

Guinea pigs outside on firework night?

I have 3 guinea pigs and they currently all live outside, i wanted to know if they will be ok tonight with the fireworks? I have pit lots and lots of bedding in for them to hide in and they also have a hutch hugger on, we dont have any neighbours letting off fireworks and there arnt any flashes but we can hear the bangs and noises, do you think they will be okay? to be honest it is still too cold for a rabbit that has been kept indoors to go out, if you want him to go outside chose a day that is abouve 10degreeC and theiris no wind and you can leave him out for 2hr max, and when the temp reaches aroun12-13 degree and it dose not drop below 10 degree at night you can start to have him outside during the whold day and in at night but whe he starts to moult keep him outside all the time as this will make his new coat come through at the correct density to keep him warm, and make sure lots of extra bedding is supplyed untill he has his outdoor coat on

I am so sad. I cry for hours and have noone to tell about it. My boyfriend really doesnt like me. He works all day then when he come home he goes outside to be around his neighbors then he comes in and goes to sleep. To get up and do it all over again. On his off days he stay outside with his friends then comes in for naps then goes back outside. I feel so alone and lonely that I cry most of all the time. What could this pain be?

Ive been getting a pain in the back, left side of my head for a day or so now. Its a twinging, sharp pain that comes every few minutes or so. Please help! I woke up yesterday after a nap with what appeared to be a bruise about the size of a dime on the top of my right . It doesn't hurt and doesn't itch either. I know it's not a bruise because I haven't done anything to warrant a bruise appearing in that particular area. The hair follicle appears to be enlarged right in the middle of the bruise, but I can't tell if it's a bite from a stinger or just an enlarged hair follicle. I also feed and at first thought that maybe my baby had sucked so hard in the wrong place, causing a hickey - as this happens sometimes when we are sleeping and she can't see in the dark. However, I've never ended up with a bruise. I am darker skinned so for a bruise this dark to appear, she would've had to suck pretty hard. Does anyone know what it could be? I have owned two. A 1992 VR4 Coupe and a 1993 SL. The VR4 was the exotic of the two with twin turbos, AWD, AWS, and a six speed manual. However it spent a lot of time in the shop and was nowhere near as reliable as the SL. The SL had no turbos, no AWD, no AWS, but was as reliable as a doormat. Both looked really nice, but I actually ended up selling the VR4 to a friend and driving the SL for several years. Both cars were great cars for what they were intended for. The SL for cruising and the VR4 for hot rodding.

Bloody discharge 12 days after end of period.....?

To give a little history I have two kids who are 19 months and 9 months old. I get my period like clockwork the first or second day of every month and it last for 6 or 7 days at a time it has been 12 days since the end of it. I noticed yesterday when I woke up I had clear discharge. When I woke up this morning the discharge was pinkish in color and then about 15 minutes ago I went to the bathroom and the discharge was red like red from period red. Is my cactus sick? or just pretty?

i bought a cactus about 6 months ago. I don't know what type it is, but it is a barrel covered in little nub things about a cm long. its pretty small, about 4in in diameter. About a month or two later I noticed that there is an increasing amount of fuzz growing in all the nocks and crannies. There was previously only really on the top now its everywhere. I also noticed that the soil retains alot of moisture. But it is planted in cactus mix, lava rocks, and sand. I had my dad put 3 of my cactus outside including the problem child when i went on vacation for 3 days. He made sure that it didnt rain when they were outside. I live in southern pa, so during the day its about 70-75 degrees, and at night 55-60. I come back and there is a lot of white fluff all over if and its completely pink not green.
