PLEASE ANSWER: Can this guy be interested in me even though he don't know me and he has a GF???

Well..I sorta have the biggest crush on a junior at my school. i am a freshmen. He is really hott and i hear is a nice guy! Whenever I am around him i can't stop blushing and whenever i see him he makes me happy. i can't stop thinking or talking about him. but i barely know him and i have not said one word to him but i really want to get to know him. At lunch on wed he sat across the aisle from me and we are always directly in front of each other. well.wed. i glanced over at him and he was like staring at me for like 5 min. and then i glanced over agian and he was still looking at me.we made eyecontact w/ each other like 5 times. and the same thing happened on fri and i was sittin at a diff. table and my friend noticed it and said it seems like he is trying to sit directly in front of you...why is he doing this? it also happened again today...what should i do?? he just started going out with a girl from a diff. town a couple of weeks ago..so why is he looking @ me?
