How are some ways to get to know a horse in very little time?

Theres a rodeo coming up this Saturday and i'm running my aunts horse in it not mine and i barely know this horse. He's totaly diffrent then my horse also.. I've rode him like 3 times but only to warm him up for her, and i only have days 2 practice then its show time!
