Im struggling ere plz help?

i would forget about the border,why not paint 3 walls a light grey and paper your chimney wall with that paper. it is nice and easy to put on. after you paint your walls get 2.5l of water base clear varnish and ad black and silver glitter to it mix well and apply with a 4" emulsion roller 2coats should be sparkly enough it looks very smart and modern
