Traveling to Europe this summer....?

ok, so i'm going to Europe this summer. the places i know of so far are France, Germany, Denmark, Russian, and Scotland. i know some French, a little German, and no Russian, Gaelic, or Danish yet but i'm working on it! anyway, i was wondering if anyone who has been to any of these countries can tell me what it's like. i was initially worried about going because i thought i might be given a hard time for being American. but, someone who has been to France before told me that if i'm not rude then i should be fine.lol. not that i was planning on being rude, but apparently there's a lot of "arrogant American" travelers. lol. anyway. if you know of cool places to visit or anything let me know please. i'm really looking forward to this trip.
