How will workers compensation effect my tax return?

My husband has been receiving workers compensation for all of 2009 for a back injury. He has had no other form of income. I work full time. We have always filed our taxes jointly. I was wondering if we get W2's or a 10 99 for the compensation? Is this taxable or do we only go off of my income? We live in Ohio. Thanks for any help!
