Alternative ways of traveling to Guatemala?

Just got back from a trip to Guatemala, and I'm planning another for next summer. I'm coming from Minneapolis, and the cost of a flight down to Guatemala City is pretty steep. Do you know of any other ways of getting down there cheaper (bus, train, car, boat)?
